From bold camera placements combined with thoughtful composition, and exploratory editing decisions–[the jury] were impressed by their vision and above and beyond effort with original title cards and score.”

The jury noted: “we were impressed by the forwardness of the filmmaking team’s take on a contemporary topic, while maintaining a journalistic neutrality–showcasing a variety of subjects and opinions. We thought the structure of the film was fantastic, pairing interviews with a wide variety of b-roll, creating a tangible world around the discussions with the people around them.”
