An accessible entrance is available on Spring Garden Road, with elevator access located beyond the escalators toward the rear of Park Lane Mall (next to Medley Market). Access to cinema level is available by either stairs or the internal Cineplex elevator located beside the arcade area. An accessible washroom is available on the lower cinema level. Water for service animals is available upon request.

The main entrance is accessible via a patio ramp from the sidewalk. The entrance is not automated, and the second floor is accessible only via a staircase. An accessible washroom is available on the main level, with gendered washrooms located in the basement via a set of stairs.. Water for service animals available upon request.

Located in the accessible auditorium of the Museum of Natural History. Entry is accessible from the south side of the Museum parking lot, located on Summer Street. An Accessible washroom is located off the hallway connecting the entrance to the auditorium. Carbon Arc encourages a scent-free space. Water for service animals is available on a self-serve basis from the drinking fountain in the hallway or the sinks in the Project Room.
Gus’s Garden, a green space directly outside of the Museum of Natural History’s building and parking lot, is a fully accessible space accessed via a gate located adjacent to the Halifax Lancers Mews on Bell Road. AIFF events held at Carbon Arc may utilize either the indoor (Carbon Arc) or outdoor (Gus’s Garden) spaces, weather depending.

There is an accessible entrance to both the upper and lower floors of the building, however there is no elevator inside. The top floor can be accessed from the front door via the parking lot. There is a ramp on the top floor connecting the bar and washrooms to the ballroom space.
The lower floor accessible entrance is to the rear of the building, near the base of a steep driveway towards the pool. This entrance is found adjacent to the patio. There is an accessible washroom stall on each floor within the gendered washrooms. Water for service animals available upon request.

There is an accessible entrance on Barrington Street, with partially accessible access to the patio on Prince Street (note: this is on a steep incline and may not be accessible to all users). An accessible washroom is available on the main level of Stardust, with additional gender neutral washrooms available upstairs. Water for service animals available upon request.

Located at Queen’s Marque. The main entrance on Lower Water Street is fully accessible, featuring automated doors and elevators to access the rooftop. An accessible washroom is available in the Stewart McKelvey offices that connect the elevators to the rooftop. Water for service animals available upon request.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Bond Building on Spring Garden Road. The main entrance is fully accessible, featuring automated doors and elevators available to access the 2nd floor. Gendered washrooms are available with accessible stalls.

AIFF’s venue accessibility audits are conducted in house and evaluate the physical spaces we utilize—such as ramps, doorways, pathways, lighting, amenities and more—to provide detailed metrics for people with disabilities.
AIFF Visual Accessibility Guide
The AIFF Visual Accessibility Guide for Cineplex Cinemas Park Lane is designed to help attendees prepare for their visit by providing detailed information about the venue and its approach routes.
Through photographs, descriptions, measurements, and route information, the guide outlines key accessibility features, entrances, pathways, seating, washrooms, and other amenities to support informed planning and reduce uncertainty. While the guide may be especially helpful for people with mobility disabilities, sensory sensitivities, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence, it is intended as a resource for anyone who would benefit from knowing what to expect before arriving.
