Polar Pups is an original concept by Jessica Brown, a Nunatsiavut Inuk creator building this series from the ground up through her own Indigenous-owned production company. We are actively seeking a broadcaster and co-production partner who understands and shares our commitment to authentic Inuit storytelling — not as a consulting role, but as genuine creative partnership. The right partner will recognize that the most powerful and enduring children's content comes from creators telling their own stories, in their own voice, from their own land. That is what Polar Pups is, and that is the standard we will not compromise on.

Logline:
Five lovable sled-dog puppies in a Nunatsiavut Inuit family discover that the best adventures happen right at home.
Synopsis:
Meet Nanuk, Boots, Hunter, Tutu, and Sybilla — five irresistible sled-dog puppies growing up in a Nunatsiavut Inuit family on the northern coast of Labrador, where ancient mountains rise from the sea, icebergs drift past the shore, and the northern lights ripple across the night sky. Together with their parents, siblings, and community, the Pups discover that the biggest adventures come from the smallest everyday moments. Tutu spots a caribou on the hillside and leads the whole family on an imaginary herd-following expedition. Boots is convinced a passing iceberg is actually a floating castle — and somebody has to go rescue it. Hunter is certain he heard the northern lights last night and is determined to prove it to everyone. Sybilla wants to learn throat singing like the women in the community, but can't quite get it right — yet. Each episode is warm, funny, and rooted in the real rhythms of Nunatsiavut life: ice fishing on the sea ice on a clear spring day, picking cloudberries and partridgeberries with Auntie, watching the brass band practice for a community gathering, or sitting with an Elder as the aurora dances overhead. Inuktitut words and traditions are woven naturally into every episode — not as lessons, but as life. This is a family that loves fiercely, laughs loudly, and lives in one of the most breathtaking places on earth. Polar Pups is fun, heartwarming, and radically authentic — the first animated preschool series to bring the world of Nunatsiavut Inuit to children everywhere.
