Logline:

Her dad died mid-affair on the family farm. Now textile conservator and professional avoider Luna must split the inheritance three ways — between her, her brother, and the horse trainer she never stopped thinking about — plant a thousand trees, and solve her father's last scavenger hunt, all while figuring out if rewilding the land means rewilding herself.

Synopsis:

She restores 500-year-old tapestries for a living. She can't fix her own life to save it.

Luna Axford restores 500-year-old tapestries in a sterile New York lab — precise, controlled, and three years divorced. Mid–stand-up comedy class, her phone rings: her Australian father Max has died. Mid-affair.

Luna flies home planning a five-day trip. She does not account for the will.

Happy Acres, the family farm, splits three ways — Luna, her brother Arlo, and Eran, the farm's equine therapist, champion jouster, and the man Luna spent one unforgettable weekend with three years ago. Nobody can sell unless all three agree, a thousand native trees go in the ground, and the creek gets restored. Rewilding — her father's last joke on all of them.

Trying on her father's jousting armour for a laugh, Luna gets fully stuck in it — right as the estate lawyer video-calls to reveal she's a surprise individual beneficiary, the inheritance earmarked for exactly one purpose: shipping her home. Forever, apparently.

Max's furious ex Piper wants more than weekly roses, and knows more than she's letting on about "Cartographica," her father's unfinished passion project. Luna's best friend Beam flies in uninvited, refusing to let her "disappear into farm life without intervention" — and immediately clocks what Luna won't admit: the land, the horses, and Eran are quietly putting her back together.

A posthumous quiz video reveals the father Luna barely knew. That night, she confesses to the horses that she's demisexual — "like sourdough starter, mostly just ferments into failure." Eran's been waiting three years, and he's not going anywhere.

It all collides at a medieval festival, where Eran jousts for Australia before a roaring crowd — and Luna, finally present instead of planning her exit, stops running. Maybe this time, she stays.

REWILDING YOU is a big-hearted ensemble comedy about a woman who left home to control everything and has to come back to control nothing — with the visual scale of A Knight's Tale, the two-worlds pull of The Holiday, and the confessional comic voice of Bridget Jones's Diary. Think Schitt's Creek's transformative arc, transplanted to sweeping Australian farmland, with a jousting tournament as the third-act finale.

Original, star-driven female lead. A built-in tournament set piece for marketing and trailer gold. International (Australia/US) setting broadens distribution appeal. Warm, structurally satisfying comedy with real ensemble depth for supporting cast.
