WELCOME CHRISSY KING AS AIFF INDUSTRY PROGRAMS MANAGER!

Chrissy was delighted to start working for AIFF in 2022, after being a longtime supporter and volunteer for the festival, beginning in 1999.  She takes on this new role after working with the FIN Partners team last year to deliver the first in-person edition of Partners since 2019. Prior to that, Chrissy worked in the music industry as a marketing and special events manager. She brings her passion for film and flair for event planning to the position and is dedicated to serve as a cheerleader for Nova Scotia and our film industry. Chrissy studied Philosophy & Film at Dalhousie University. Her favorite Atlantic Film Festival memory is attending a rowdy screening of Mulholland Drive in 2001.
