About AIFF

The Atlantic International Film Festival (AIFF) is an eight-day festival featuring screenings of 100+ films; Q&As, receptions, industry events and gatherings. The festival celebrates new and established filmmaking voices from Atlantic Canada and around the world, helping audiences discover new artists, uncover new perspectives and better understand the world through the medium of cinema. The festival presents films that cover a broad range of topics and genres, and is dedicated to presenting and elevating work from creators who are female-identified, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+ and Deaf and Disabled. The 44th AIFF will take place September 11th - 18th, 2024, at Cineplex Cinemas Park Lane in downtown Halifax.
