Randall Okita is an award-winning Canadian filmmaker and artist whose work spans narrative film, virtual reality, and immersive media. Logline:

A subconscious waste-removal worker tasked with cleaning and burning the junk that accumulates inside people’s dreams begins smuggling memories to hold onto his connection with a mysterious dreamer, threatening both their realities.

Synopsis:

Below Morning is a surreal love story about Jasper, a subconscious waste-removal worker who falls in love with one of his clients. In a job where his memories are eliminated nightly, he begins to break the rules in order to remember her. When his cheating is discovered, he flees into the landscape of dreams and tries to find her. As the trouble begins to catch up with him, she decides to run with him. Outside of her own dream however, she begins to deteriorate, and he is forced to turn himself in to ask for help. In order
to save her, he must eliminate his memories one by one, and as he gets to the end of the process, he discovers his own connections to the work that he has been doing all along.
