Logline:

Synopsis:
Ellie Mills, a hardened paramedic struggling with a secret addiction to stolen prescription drugs, is pushed to the brink after a routine emergency call ends in the gruesome suicide of a young gunman. Haunted by the trauma and abandoned by her retiring partner, George, Ellie throws herself into her work while quietly running a small drug-dealing operation on the side.
When Ellie befriends Sam, a pregnant sixteen-year-old fleeing a mysterious group of traffickers, she becomes determined to protect her after witnessing the girl's desperate circumstances. But Sam's past catches up with her, drawing Ellie into a violent underground network led by the elusive Casper—a ruthless trafficker with corrupt allies embedded throughout the city.
As Sam disappears and bodies begin to pile up, Ellie abandons protocol, using every connection she has to uncover the truth. Her obsession costs her career, her allies, and nearly her life, culminating in a shocking discovery that the trafficking ring reaches into law enforcement itself.
